HOKKIEN
(explanation: please refer to this link)
Hokkien is a commonly used language (especially in Medan) among the Chinese in Indonesia. Many of the Indonesian in Medan were Indonesia-born Chinese, meaning: their ancestors were Chinese. Hokkien is also widely used in several countries in South-East Asia, such as: in Malaysia and Singapore. Although the Hokkien spoken between Singaporean, Malaysian, and Indonesian  may differ in terms of choice of words and grammar, there are still a lot of similar words between these three. After all, they came from the same root.
